ZOFIA ROSIŃSKA is a Full Professor at the University of Warsaw Institute of Philosophy. She is the chair of the department of the Philosophy of Culture. Broadly, her interests lie between psychology and philosophy. She has published and co-authored eight books in Polish: A History of Psychology, Jung, Freud, Psychoanalytic Ways of Thinking about Art, Leopold Blaustein and the Idea of the Reception of Media, What is Philosophy of Culture?, Memory in Twentieth Century Philosophy, and Freud and Modernity. She has published over 100 articles. Her current area of study focuses on the interface between psychoanalysis and phenomenology. She taught at St. Lawrence University and she was visiting professor at the University of Pittsburgh at the Center for Philosophy of Science, and at the Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She also maintains active collaborations with several European Universities.
